Violin & Fiddle Lessons

String instruments are those that have no frets, and are generally bowed. This includes violin/fiddle, Viola, Cello, and upright bass. Without frets, developing a good sense of pitch, so that you can be sure you are playing the right notes is essential. This makes it extremely hard to learn on your own. Without someone there to let you know when you are sharp or flat, you will have a very difficult time developing your ear in the first place, and your technique and sound will suffer. Both Jordyn and Eugene will be a great asset for someone just getting started on a violin/fiddle, and with Eugene's 50+ years of teaching and playing experience, he will be able to help develop even a well seasoned musicians abilities.

Currently our two string instrument instructors focus on the violin/fiddle exclusively, but we are looking to hire someone who can teach any of the other string instruments as well. If you know someone who may be interested in joining our team of music instructors.
