Washburn HG120SWEK All-Solid Mahogany Acoustic/Electric - Hardshell Case & Loxx Strap Locks Included - Very Good Condition Used

We have this Washburn HG120SWEK-D in from a trade in very good condition.

It has some noticeable signs of use around the body, but really prevents it from reaching what I would call "excellent condition" is that the original owner had put glow in the dark paint on the ends of the control knobs so he could see them on dark stages.

But before he brought it in for a trade he took a black felt marker to cover those ends.

This does make them look a little strange, however you may be able to get this all cleaned off and back to normal.

There are some small pick scratches on the top of the guitar on and around the pick guard, some very minimal buckle rash on the back and the neck has been well played so the satin finish has gotten a little smoother and shinier from its use.

Lastly there are a number of small dents in the finish on the bottom of the guitar.

My guess is that he had used it in a stand that didn't have good padding for the bottom or perhaps played regularly in a space where he would turn and bump it into something beside him.

The dents are all in the finish but did not chip the finish out.

But you can feel the dents with your fingers and see them pretty easily when they catch the light the right way.

Aside from the cosmetic blemishes however, the guitar is in great shape, it plays very easily, the electronics work great and have an awesome live sound with the internal mic and piezo element that you can blend between.

The prior owner also installed the Loxx strap lock system onto it which makes it vastly more secure when playing with a strap and also makes it effortless to get the strap on and off.

If you are unfamiliar with the Loxx system it's worth looking into, especially on guitars like this with an output jack strap button at the bottom as using that can cause a lot of issues, so this bypasses that issue.

Since he kept his strap for his new guitar however, we will offer 25% off any strap of your choice along with this guitar.

Lastly the guitar has a wonderful sound acoustically.

The all-solid mahogany construction gives it a rich tone with lots of warm and dynamic overtones.

While it's not as loud acoustically as some other wood combinations, it has a much more full sound than you may expect and is ideal for a lot of fingerstyle applications and has a very folky and earthy tone when strummed.

The guitar also includes its original fitted Washburn hardshell case.

We also installed a fresh set of D'Addario XTAPB1253 strings onto it.

This was done after the photos were taken so it all looks better than in the pics.
