We have an incredible selection of classical guitars for our region with 30-60 models in stock at a given time in a range of prices we certainly have more than any other shop within a few hundred kilometers. While classical guitars aren't as popular as steel string acoustics, they make great beginner guitars for younger kids, and are certainly our best selling options for 1/2 and 3/4 size instruments. But our selection includes a number of mid and professional grade classicals as well, ideally suited to a range of finger-style playing including its namesake, 'classical' music.
Classical guitars are similar to acoustic guitars in many ways, but also have a host of differences. These unique features generally include a 12th fret neck joint, a slotted head-stock, wider fingerboards with flat frets, a straight bridge without bridge pins, and a very traditional body shape. If you want to experience the differences for yourself, be sure to stop by and have someone from our sales team show you what each has to offer.
