Following the incredible success of the Blackstar FLY 3 Bluetooth mini amp we are pleased to announce a new upgraded version that allows it to be recharged via USB-C.

The FLY 3 Charge mini amp retains all the great tone, flexibility of control and features of the original. Its Bluetooth capabilities make it the perfect take anywhere practice amp and MP3 speaker dock. Now you can jam, play and record for up to 18 hours using the internal rechargeable battery.

This product is fully compatible with the standard FLY 103 extension cabinet to create a 6W stereo setup perfect for full range music playback.

The deluxe quality feel of these new amps is enhanced by their tactile soft-touch, matte black finish.

All these features, coupled with their superior sonic performance, further differentiates them from any competitor’s products currently available.

Like the standard models these units will come in cool, full colour packaging.

Rather than just being focussed on its look and compact size and ultimately sacrificing the quality of sound, the FLY 3’s unique design delivers the same tonal balance and feel of a larger guitar amp even at low volumes.

Sonic Performance

The use of a full range driver eliminates the need of a subwoofer. This has the benefit of removing the requirement for a crossover and the negative sonic impact that can have.

The key part of a guitar’s tone occurs in the frequencies that are normally affected by a crossover and for music playback the performance is similar to nearfield monitors.

Attention to Detail

Countless hours were spent on the design of the cabinet to achieve a sonic performance not normally found in a mini amp.

The housing is sealed and tuned to ensure optimum tonal response and the material used has been mathematically modelled to have the Young’s Modulus of wood.

This retains the bass response usually associated with a wooden cabinet.
