The BCTC401 is a 1/2 size classical that is perfect for the average 7-9year old to learn on. It is our best-selling 1/2 size instrument due to their easy playability, quality hardware and build for the price, and overall good value.
They come in some great looking colour options, include a simple cloth gig bag, and are strung with D'Addario EXP45 coated strings that sound good and will last a long time relative to those on most instruments in the price range.
The classical guitar's simplicity and durability make them ideal for young kids learning to play as they aren't going to hurt the fingers as much, have better intonation and offer up a warmer tone that's ideal for simple melody playing.
